1. Overview and Acceptance

This website is operated by TNT Fitness LLC, doing business as Dr. Knot. In these Terms of Service, "Dr. Knot," "we," "us," and "our" refer to TNT Fitness LLC. These Terms govern your access to and use of thedrknot.com, our online store, and the products, digital content, subscriptions, tools, applications, courses, communities, assessments, and services made available by Dr. Knot (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the site, creating an account, making a purchase, or using a Service, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform we use to offer products and Services. Other portions of the Services may be hosted or supported by service providers described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Adults Only and Account Information

You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the site or any Service, create an account, make a purchase, participate in Back Pain Lab or a Dr. Knot community, use KnotFinder or Pain Finder, enroll in a course, or submit an assessment. By accessing or using any Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate account, billing, shipping, and purchase information. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

3. Products, Services, and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to describe and display our products and Services accurately. Screen settings and other factors can affect how product colors or images appear. Product descriptions, availability, features, and prices may change without notice. We may limit quantities, discontinue an item or Service, or refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including for suspected fraud, resale, pricing errors, or legal compliance.

If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the canceled amount to the original payment method.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other material charges are shown before you complete checkout when required. By submitting an order, you authorize the payment method provided to be charged for the total displayed at checkout.

5. U.S.-Only Shipping

We currently ship physical products only within the United States. Processing, shipping methods, delivery estimates, tracking, address changes, delays, and lost or damaged shipments are governed by our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and Refunds

Eligible physical products purchased directly from thedrknot.com are covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Sale-priced physical products remain eligible, and Dr. Knot pays eligible return shipping. Full terms, exclusions, timing, and instructions are provided in our Refund Policy.

7. Digital Products and Limited License

Digital products, downloads, courses, app access, videos, documents, and other digitally delivered materials are licensed to you for your personal, noncommercial use unless a separate written license states otherwise. They are not sold or transferred to you as intellectual property.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, reverse engineer, share account access to, or create derivative commercial products from digital content except as expressly permitted by law or by written permission from Dr. Knot.

Digital products are not refundable after purchase or delivery except where required by law. If you have an access problem, contact us so we can help.

8. Subscriptions and Recurring Charges

When you purchase a subscription or recurring product, you authorize Dr. Knot and its payment providers to charge the price, taxes, and disclosed fees at the frequency shown at checkout until you cancel. Material subscription terms, including price, billing frequency, renewal, and cancellation information, will be disclosed before purchase.

You may cancel at any time before the next charge using the cancellation method provided with the subscription or by contacting info@thedrknot.com. After cancellation, you will not be charged for the next scheduled purchase. Cancellation does not create a refund for a completed charge, current digital-access period, or previously delivered digital product except where required by law.

9. Educational and Health Disclaimer

Dr. Knot provides educational information and tools related to movement, muscles, myofascial patterns, and lower back pain. The Services are for general educational purposes and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Dr. Knot is not a medical provider, and the Services do not replace care from a qualified physician, physical therapist, or other licensed healthcare professional.

Results vary. No product, exercise, technique, assessment, course, app, or other Service is guaranteed to identify the cause of pain, relieve pain, cure a condition, or produce a particular outcome. Stop using a product or technique and seek appropriate professional care if you experience sharp, severe, new, or worsening pain or another concerning symptom. Seek emergency care for a medical emergency.

You are responsible for deciding whether a Service is appropriate for you and for following all product instructions, warnings, contraindications, and safety guidance.

10. Intellectual Property

The site and Services, including their text, graphics, logos, videos, software, product names, course materials, methods, and other content, are owned by or licensed to Dr. Knot and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

You may use the site and Services only for lawful, personal, noncommercial purposes unless we give you written permission for another use.

11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the site or Services to violate a law or another person's rights; transmit malicious code; gain unauthorized access; interfere with site security or operation; scrape, harvest, or collect information through unauthorized automated means; submit false or misleading information; impersonate another person; harass or harm others; or reproduce, resell, or exploit the Services without permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens the site, Dr. Knot, our customers, or other parties.

12. Reviews, Feedback, and Submissions

If you voluntarily submit a review, testimonial, suggestion, or other content, you represent that you have the right to submit it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Dr. Knot a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and display that content for operating, improving, and promoting the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We are not required to use, compensate you for, or respond to a submission. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may use or link to third-party platforms, payment providers, carriers, apps, or websites. Those third parties may have separate terms and privacy practices. Dr. Knot is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. Pain-related and wellness information is also governed by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Available cookie preferences and data-sharing choices are provided through the privacy controls made available on the site.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the site will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that all information will always be complete or current. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Knot and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, savings, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Knot's total liability for a claim arising from or related to a paid product or Service will not exceed the amount you paid Dr. Knot for the product or Service giving rise to the claim during the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr. Knot and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your content, or your material breach of these Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms and disputes relating to the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the law of your state gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract.

19. Severability and Waiver

If a provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our Services, business practices, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. When required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
